I found the correct one. You rename the server.id to other name, example server.idxxx. then try again
<a href="http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/sametime/v7r5m1/topic/com.ibm.help.sametime.home.doc/st751serverinstall.pdf" rel="nofollow">http://publib.boulder.ibm.com/infocenter/sametime/v7r5m1/topic/com.ibm.help.sametime.home.doc/st751serverinstall.pdf</a>

Cheers, Dan, found your post via a Google search, and the STSkipDominoPasswordCheck=true variable did the trick.

Thanks :-)

I have to agree with Stuart. The least that they could have done was have the woman say "If we had IBM Lotus Connections you would."

Unfortunately it actually shows that Social Networking doesnt work. Other have already said this, but it would be so much better if the guy said "Yeah, of course I can find that person", popped up Lotus Connections, clicked a couple of tags and showed the individual's business card.

Instead, the target of the ad is made to look stupid again... Another opportunity lost.

I completely agree on separate threaded clients. In fact, I asked for this back in the beta2 for 8.0, because I thought it was supposed to be included. I've asked in person to a few IBMers who I have talked to over the past 2 years, and none have ever seemed to think it was needed???? I manage a few remote servers over a slow connection and can't answer IMs or do anything else until it finishes. Just selecting a db in the file list can take 15 seconds - even though I have not asked for any info or performed an action on it yet. When I know I have a few things to do on these servers, I fire up my laptop so I don't loose my desktop.

As far as the eclipse is concerned.....Notes 8.5 is definitely faster, but if the admin client turns out to be anything like the designer client is now, then I also want nothing to do with it. The Notes designer 8.5 client is the slowest application I have used in a long time. I think the existing admin client is perfectly fine. All they need to do is get it consistent with the changes in the domdir (like creating policies/settings for example).

Not sure if you use this, but I use it all the time - @Command([AdminRemoteConsole]) - just add it as a custom toolbar button. Its a nice lightweight admin console. You can only use 1 at a time, but it is not modal so you can do other stuff too. And you could easily copy and paste the results someplace you can grep.

Hey, I like the integrated Sametime. I know it sucks when you want to talk to someone while waiting for a doclink to open, but, on the other hand, you have awareness and chat directly from a message window. I use it a lot.
As I work with other accounts, my main Lotus Notes installation I usually open only for mail, while I have other DATA directories for each account I support, then, one Domino Admin for each of them also.
BTW, the ~grep for Domino Admin would be very very interesting.

Personally I'd love to have an eclipse based admin client. :) The ability to just have the related windows I want open and move them around would be great.
